About MoDA

Since opening in 2000, MoDA has established a reputation for excellence and best practice in many areas of museum activity.

We have been registered as a Visitor Assurance Quality Attraction since 2002. Our exhibitions are regularly well received by the press, and our News Archive contains numerous examples of press coverage relating to the museum.

Designated Collection
In 2008 MoDA's Silver Studio Collection was awarded Designated Status by the Museums Libraries and Archive Council (MLA) in recognition of its national and international quality and significance.

MoDA as an Accredited Museum
MoDA achieved Museum Accreditation in 2006, demonstrating that we meet high standards in collections care and visitor services.
