MoDA's latest exhibition is Japantastic

The Museum of Domestic Design & Architecture offers two temporary exhibitions a year in addition to our permanent exhibition. The temporary exhibition programme is carefully planned to be of interest to both the university audience and the local and wider community. We frequently invite academic staff from Middlesex University and elsewhere to be guest curators.

MoDA’s policy is to develop exhibitions based on research into the museum’s collections, or relating to the themes of the collections in some way.

Since opening in 2000, the museum has developed an excellent reputation for high quality exhibitions making sound scholarly research accessible to a wide audience.

In addition to the exhibitions in the museum’s galleries we also offer a variety of shorter displays in the museum’s other spaces. These include student shows, an annual outdoor show by artists and other work inspired by the collections inthe corridors and lecture theatre.
