Getting Involved

There are various different ways in which you can get involved at MoDA.

A range of volunteering opportunities are available. The museum front desk is entirely staffed by volunteers, and we are always looking for new people who are willing to help.

If you would like to support MoDA’s work, and help us develop and encourage interest in the museum and our collections, why not join the Friends of MoDA?

You may be interested in undertaking a work placement at MoDA. We regularly accept students (undergraduate and postgraduate) and school pupils (Year 10 through to Sixth Form), as well as those looking to undertake relevant professional placements.

Donate your photographs of homes and interiors
If you have a photograph of your home you’d like to donate to MoDA, first please tell us more about it by filling in our homes and homeowners questionnaire (Word 2003)

Original photographs can be posted, along with your questionnaire, to: Zoë Brealey, Assistant Curator, MoDA, Middlesex University, Cat Hill, Barnet, Hertfordshire, EN4 8HT. Please state clearly whether you are offering to donate your original photograph, or if you would like us to scan and return it. If you would like to donate a digital file (either a digital photograph or a scan of an old print), please email it to z.brealey@mdx.ac.uk

For all photograph and questionnaire donations, please also print and sign our release form (Word 2003) to confirm you are happy for these items to become part of MoDA’s collections. Without this we cannot accept your donation.

And by joining our mailing list you will be regularly updated with details of all forthcoming events and exhibitions
