Hodder & Stoughton - London, Publisher, 1904

Here is shown a page from ‘The British Home of Today’, published in London in 1904. This English oak dining table was produced by designer and craftsman Sydney Barnsley. It is typical of arts and crafts furniture that was fashionable at the turn of the century. Furniture such as this was very expensive and was sold by shops such as Liberty & Co, which specialised in exclusive, fashionable products at the turn of the century.
