A wallpaper sample by Edward Bawden for Curwen Press in 1933. The paper features vertical stripes of abstract motifs with stars in between, in pale blue and pink, on a cream ground. This sample is one of the four 'Plaistow' wallpapers commissioned from Edward Bawden by the Curwen Press in November 1932 and printed the following year. The others were Node, Façade and Ashlar. The papers sold for between seven shillings and seven shillings and sixpence per piece, a piece consisting of thirteen sheets.
