Firth, Ray and Prosser, distributor, 1938

An expensive, high quality set of papers, comprising a main filling, a companion and a border, dating from 1938. The main pattern has overlapping geometric shapes on a beige mottled and embossed ground. The companion is the same ground, without a pattern. The border has lengthways stripes with crossways bands and dots embossed and printed in gold. The litho with a suggested scheme shows a room in the 1930s 'modern' style.
