manufactured by John Line & Sons, about 1955

A wallpaper by John Line & Sons from around 1955. The paper is a combination of two popular tastes of the time - the desire for Regency decoration which is evident in the musical instrument groups, and the trend for Scandanavian design, noticeable in the use of panels. The sample features musical instrument groups within dotted blue oblongs and smaller round panels containing gold stars, on a lime green ground with narrow white stripes.
