This is a design for a printed textile by Harry Napper for the Silver Studio in 1898. It is a typical Art Nouveau design featuring flattened, hard edged flower forms in vigourous, upwardly growing, spiralling curves of leaves. The colours are yellow, apricot, terracotta and red, on a dark blue ground.
